Mark your calendars for the opening of Charlotte Russell Contemporary’s exhibition, Art Ritual on April 9, 2021, 5 to 8 pm. The exhibit will be on show until May 26th, 2021.

Art Ritual is a group exhibition featuring contemporary artwork that explores the ritual of art making. Selected artists include King Nobuyoshi Godwin, Rebecca Kaufman, Kelly Sheppard Murray, Ethel Revita, Evelyn Reyes, and Joy Tirade. Using their own forms and mediums, the artworks on view create an event of seeing.

Also opening is Colorful Conversation, a two-person exhibition of female North Carolina painters, Jen Mathews and Hannah Surace. Each with their own approach and unique color combinations, the paintings on view are a colorful conversation on contemporary paintings in North Carolina now.
