Get Holiday Ready 2019
We know this week is all about tricks and treats but as soon as we flip the calendar to November, our favorite time of the year begins in Cameron Village! Our stores are almost ready for all the winter fashions, holiday decor and seasonal gifts you’re looking for.
We’re getting holiday ready at the Village and the 2019 season will top off our 70th year with festive style.
Holiday Fashion
Walking along our sidewalks you can’t help but think about all the upcoming holiday parties when you look in boutique windows. Senior Store Manager Ashtin Smith arranges a rack inside MADISON. “As we approach the holiday season, I am most excited for luxe fabrics, texture, and animal print everything,” she says.
Smith holds up a long sleeve navy and gold cocktail dress, remarking that colors like that could work from autumn all the way through New Years Eve. “We will have a variety of pieces that will carry our customers through the holiday season and beyond: sequin holiday wear, satin cocktail dresses and long occasion dresses, statement blouses, textured sweaters, fur coats, and a lot of pleated and animal print clothing,” she says.

We know the most fun person to shop for this season is YOU, but MADISON can help you shop for the fashionistas on your list too. Smith says, “We’ll also have pieces perfect for gifting: trendy sweaters, fun statement jewelry, cozy scarves, and a variety of hats, bags, and other accessories.”
At Uniquities, Store Manager Kayla Anderson and Style and Sales Director Linda Abdeljabbar discuss what they’re excited about this season. “We’re gonna have our best stylists! All our best people are here. Head to toe styling for the holiday season,” Anderson says. Abdeljabbar lists the looks customers want this year, “Dressy tops. Lots of sequins. Metallics. Dark florals. The new boots this year are amazing!”
Step out with holiday style! No outfit is complete without the perfect pair of shoes. Gwen Poole, Sales Associate at Rangoni Firenze Shoes has the perfect seasonal finds, “A lot of our Valentina’s are great for parties. They have a lot of details, gems and really fun things. They have everything from flats to a three inch heel.”

Seasonal Decor
Down the sidewalk at Pier 1 Imports, the holidays are already here. When you walk in the Cameron Village store you immediately notice their theme of “The Joy of Holiday.” In the front, the stunning “Nordic Lights” display on a large dining table makes you feel all is calm and bright already. Sparkling pine branch decorations and the “All Spruced Up” dinnerware line makes you wish for colder weather.

The Perfect Gift
If you haven’t already thought about teacher gifts, hostess gifts or gifts for THAT aunt, don’t worry. We have you covered! At Charlotte’s, sales associates have home accessories, decorations and holiday ornaments perfect for gifting. Charlotte’s carries the much loved candles by Nest Fragrances. Paired with a jar of matches, it makes an adorable hostess gift for one of your Christmas parties.
Do you have a proud North Carolinian to shop for? Mudpie tea towels with Santa Claus wishing our state a “Merry Christmas” are perfect for Carolina kitchens.

The teacher or busy mom in your life deserves to relax this season, or maybe they need a caffeine boost. Either way, find what they want at Tin Roof Teas. At the Village’s best spot for a spot of tea, find a wall-to-wall selection of premium loose-leaf teas and herbs, honey, chocolate, and accessories. Pick up a Tea Sampler package or cast iron teapots.

Holiday Open House
Back at Uniquities, Anderson and Abdeljabbar’s thoughts are never far from one of Cameron Village’s biggest nights of the year, the Holiday Open House. They have been planning their annual window display for Thursday, November 21 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Without revealing too much, Anderson discusses their plans, “We are going to do a milk and cookies bar at Open House. We’ll have milk and cookies for patrons inside. We’re excited!”
At MADISON, Smith eyes her store’s front window and says, “We can’t wait for the Cameron Village open house this coming month, when we will show so many new arrivals and will also be offering 20% off storewide, including this seasons must-give gifts! And we’ll have treats as always!”

Save the date and join us! We’ll announce more holiday deals and Open House specials soon! Is it too early? No, we’ll say it, “Happy Holidays!”
